Kettering Man Sought for Big Lots Break-in

KETTERING -- Police are looking for a breaking and entering suspect who they say hid inside a store until it closed and then tried to crack a safe.

According to Kettering police, Richard A. Creditt II, 33, of Kettering entered the Wilmington Pike Big Store store between 10:30 p.m. May 8 and midnight and waited until employees left. He tried to get into the safe but couldn't, police say, so he stole several LCD televisions.

Surveillance cameras caught Creditt committing the crimes, police say.

He is wanted for breaking and enter and safecracking charges. He is currently at large and, according to police, known to frequent the Jamestown area.

If you know where Creditt can be located, contact your local police agency or the Kettering Police Department at 937-296-2555.
