UPDATE: DAYTON-- A 16 year old Meadowdale High School student is locked up, accused of kidnapping and raping a 31 year old woman.
Police said the woman was attacked the night of May 21. The woman told police she was visiting a friend and was in her car, stopped at a stop sign near the 3200 Block of North Main.
The victim told police the suspect forced his way into her car, a green Saturn, and beat her in the face with a gun.
Police said the suspect then took her to a vacant house in the 1800 block of Kammer Avenue where he raped her.
"After the assault , he took some of her property, and threatened her life and then allowed her to leave."
Dayton Police Sgt. Rick Blommel said.
Bloody and beaten, the woman drove to the hospital where she got some help.
Police and US Marshals spent the last 8 days searching for the young suspect, and arrested the teen at his west side Dayton home this morning.
The teen is facing numerous charges including rape, kidnapping, assault and robbery.
The suspect is locked up in the Montgomery County Juvenile Justice Center .

Police say the suspect has threatened the life of the victim.
After a week-long investigation, police say they arrested the suspect, who they are not identifying because of his age.
That suspect is in the Juvenile Justice Center after being arrested in his West Dayton home. He faces kidnapping, assault and rape charges.
