BELLEFONTAINE -- A 16-year-old boy is cited after state troopers say he ran a stop sign and crashed into a school bus near Bellefontaine.
It happened Tuesday afternoon at State Route 47 at County Road 12. The teen driver hit the bus in that intersection, sending nine of the 46 children on the bus to the hospital with minor injuries.
Neighbors say it's something they see way too often in this area.
"People speed through here, especially the high school students." Cara Morgan told us. "They've got people come in our driveway, there's a couple kids that tried to run each other off the road, yeah it's pretty bad."
