Woman Charged After Hiring Facebook Hit Man

WARREN COUNTY -- A woman has been indicted after being accused of using Facebook to hire a killer.

Detectives tell us 28-year-old Heather Boling reached out to someone in Indianapolis, asking him to kill her ex-husband.

Warren County deputies put Boling in touch with a detective posing as a hit man.

The two met, and police say Boling gave the detective money.

Boling was charged Tuesday night with conspiracy to commit aggravated murder and money laundering.

WARREN COUNTY -- A woman is in the Warren County Jail, accused of trying to find a hit man on Facebook to kill her ex-husband.

The Warren County Sheriff's Office said they were contacted by the Indianapolis Police Department. Indianapolis Police said they received information that 28-year-old Heather Boling solicited someone from Indianapolis using Facebook.

The two agencies worked together to put her in contact with a Warren County detective who posed as a hit man. Detectives say Boling met the detective at the Cincinnati Premium Outlets and gave him money to kill her ex-husband.

Heather Boling is charged with conspiracy to commit aggravated murder.
