DAYTON -- Police are questioning three women after someone fires a gun into a house.
It happened early Tuesday morning on Grove Avenue. A witness says a minivan pulled up and fired three shots into the top of a house.
According to police, the van took off and apparently started chasing and shooting at an SUV. Police stopped the minivan at Fourth and Monmouth Street. The three women inside were taken into police custody. They also reportedly found a stolen gun in the van.
A neighbor, Nicole Winningham, says there was some arguing before she heard the shots fired. Police say one of the women was having a dispute with her baby's father. They believe he was the target of the attack.
Winningham says incidents like these are constantly keeping her and her kids on edge. "I just know to keep a better eye on them, keep them closer to home."
No one was injured.
