UPDATE: DAYTON--Families in one neighborhood woke up to a loud explosion, and the smell of gun powder after a bomb went off, inside a car.
About 3:30 Friday morning, neighbors on Colwick Drive woke up to a loud explosion and called 911.
911 Call:
Caller: "The neighbor's car just had an explosion."
Dispatcher: "It exploded? "
Caller: "Yes, he thinks someone did it."
Dayton Police responded and found the victim's car, a 2002 red Cadillac sitting in front of a home, badly damaged.
The blast blew out the Cadillac's rear and side windows and left the windshield severely cracked.
911 call:
Dispatcher: "Is it in flames?
Caller: "Its not now, it was smoking."
Caller: "All the windows are shattered out."
Dispatcher: "Is it still smoking?"
Caller: "Ah, you can still smell it. "
So far, police have not made any arrests. The suspect could face felony vandalism charges.

DAYTON -- An explosion early Friday morning woke up a Dayton neighborhood and the car's owner says he might know who did it.
Dayton police tell us the explosion happened about 3:30 a.m. Friday. inside a 2002 Cadillac at 1247 Colwick Drive. The car's owner, 31-year-old John Riley, said he suspects his girlfriend and mother of his two children.
Police said they smelled a strong odor of gunpowder in the car, which indicates an explosive device.
No one was injured, however the car's windows were blown out and the windshield was heavily damaged. Police said the car never caught fire, however.
The incident remains under investigation.
