16 Year Old Driver Arrested After Crash In Front of Fairmont High School

UPDATE --Kettering police have arrested a teenage driver from Huber Heights for causing a serious crash Friday morning in front of Fairmont High School. 

The 16 year old  is being held in the Montgomery County Juvenile Detention Center on two charges of aggravated vehicular assault.

19 year old Bridget McPeek, a passenger is at Kettering Medical Center in critical condition.

Another 16 year old male passenger was transferred to Childrens Medical Center and is also listed in critical condition.

The driver was originally treated and released from the hospital, before his arrest.

KETTERING -- Police are investigating a single-car crash from this morning that caused serious injuries.

Three people were in the vehicle at the time of the crash.

According to the Kettering Police Department, the crash happened about 8:44 a.m. Friday along Shroyer Road, near Fairmont High School. The car had been traveling north on Shroyer and then struck a fire hydrant, large tree and light pole. The car came to rest at the base of the light pole.

The crash victims were taken to Kettering Memorial Hospital.
