TROY -- Three people are forced to jump from a second-floor apartment after a fire breaks out.
It happened around 3 a.m. Wednesday on Foss Way in Troy. Firefighters say both the exit and entrance of the apartment complex were blocked by fire.
The three people who made the 25-foot jump have been taken to the hospital; their injuries are unknown at this time. Four other people were rescued with a ladder. There were a total of 15 people inside the complex at the time.
Firefighters say damage to the complex is extensive. Residents are getting help from the Red Cross. No word on a cause yet.
