BEAVERCREEK -- DP&L will move a large transformer from Beavercreek to Kettering beginning at 8 a.m. Wednesday morning. The move may result in temporary road delays. The largest impact is expected on Shakertown Road since it is a single-lane road and a double trailer is necessary to move this transformer.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol will be escorting the transformer as it is moved between substations. DP&L estimates the entire move will take at least four hours.
