BREAKING: Dayton -- Dayton police are on the scene of a homicide on Dorham Place, which is in the Kings Mill Apartment. Officers were dispatched to the area around 9:40pm on the report of a man shot in the chest and not breathing. The 27 year old victim was pronounced dead shortly after and homicide detectives were called to the scene.
Police say there are no signs of forced entry into the apartment where the victim was found. Police also say the man used a cane and did have some medical issues.
Sergeant Mark Spiers tell us, investigators are interviewing people at the apartment complex and trying to follow-up on any leads, ''We're looking for two people who may have fled the scene in a full size SUV, possibly a dark green suburban, we're trying to obtain more information on that.''
