VANDALIA -- Quackers, the 12-foot inflatable duck and symbol of Dayton's annual Rubber Duck Regatta, a fundraiser for children and adults with disabilities, was stolen last August from Butler Auto Bath in Vandalia.
As it turns out, the stolen duck never went far.
A woman living near the auto bath was recently evicted and the inflatable duck was found inside.
The woman claims her boyfriend stole it.
It's unknown at this time if there will be any charges.
