DAYTON -- A 17-year-old boy told police he was shot early Wednesday morning while he was sitting on his porch.
Tiwonne Montgomery told officers a black male drove up in a car and fired at him with a shotgun.
He said he wasn't sure what happened but first realized his ears were ringing and then that he had been shot. He awoke his cousin and asked for a ride to the hospital.
The cousin and his friend drove the boy to the hospital.
Police said he had been shot by shotgun pellets in the right arm, chest and left hand.

DAYTON -- A man shows up at Good Samaritan Hospital early Wednesday morning.
Police say the victim was dropped off by three other men. He had several buckshot wounds from a shotgun.
Police say they are not getting much cooperation from the people who dropped him off. The victim's injuries are not considered life-threatening.
