MORAINE -- Police are looking for the man who used a hand-gun to rob a Speedway.
It happened just before 2:00 Friday morning at the Speedway on Alex Bell Road. Police say the crook was a heavy-set, black male wearing a grey hoody, black cargo pants, and a ski mask.
He walked in, pulled out a semi-automatic hand gun and demanded the cash. The clerk complied and opened the register.
While running away, police say the thief dropped some of the money. A K9 Unit was called in to track the suspect, but came up empty.
Police suspect the crook may live in one of the apartments behind the Speedway gas station. They'll be looking at surveillance video later today.
