DAYTON -- The suspicious item found along the Dayton Aviation Trail was described as a 5-gallon bucket of chemicals.
It has now been deemed "safe" after being shot with a pellet gun by the Dayton Bomb Squad.
A haz-mat team also responded to the scene.
