FRANKLIN TWP. -- Warren County authorities were called out to a reported sighting of a lion or bobcat near Marcella Drive.
Warren County Sheriff's deputies searched the area, which included the Pennyroyal Elementary School, but no big cat was found.
The man who saw it from his window said he first thought it was a deer but then realized it was a big cat.
It was cleaning itself in his yard by the treeline. He said he called 911 but before authorities arrived the animal got up casually and walked away.
He said he's seen plenty of wildlife in the area before.
