SPRINGBORO -- Runners got into the holiday spirit this morning with the Jingle Bell Jog at Dennis Elementary School in Springboro.
Food donations were also accepted for the Springboro Community Assistance Center.
Following the run, the Springboro Lions Club held its community pancake breakfast.
The two events were a welcome combination during this holiday season.
Organizer Karen DeRosa said, "It just seemed to fit, really busy time of year and those things just kind of fit well together, we found out we were doing the jog, they were doing the breakfast, why not put them together."
Along with the run and breakfast, there was also a health fair that provided free testing and information on respiratory issues.
