CLAYTON -- Police are searching for a two men who assaulted a female clerk while robbing the Circle K on North Main Street on Wednesday night.
The robbery happened in the 7300 block of North Main just after 9 p.m. Police say the female employee was punched by one of the thieves before they took off.
Officers could be seen gathering evidence and dusting for fingerprints inside the store after the incident.
