CENTERVILLE -- Thursday, you can give blood for a special cause.
The Community Blood Center will hold its 16th annual John Kalaman Blood Drive from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Centerville Police Department.
Kalaman was a police officer who was killed aiding an accident victim on an icy road in 1998.
The blood drive is typically held on or near the date of John's birthday, April 27.
