UPDATE: I-75 South Reopens After Semi Crash

DAYTON -- I-75 southbound has reopened after a semi crash closed the highway overnight. Stanley Avenue had also been closed because the truck's cab had fallen from the I-75 overpass and landed on Stanley. It also has reopened.

DAYTON -- I-75 South is closed at Wagner Ford Road after a semi crashes off an overpass at the Stanley Avenue exit.

It happened just after 2:30 Wednesday morning. The cab of the truck wound up under I-75, on Stanley Avenue. The driver was in the cab when it fell off the highway. He was trapped, but has since been removed.

The driver's condition is unknown at this time, but our crew on the scene says he was moving his arm.

The semi's trailer stayed up on I-75 and caught fire. We're told the truck was carrying lime.

DAYTON -- A big emergency response is being called to I-75 South at Stanley Avenue.

According to scanner traffic, a semi crashed on the overpass and the cab wound up off the side of the overpass.

We're also hearing reports that the trailer is on fire. We have a crew on scene and we will update you as soon as more information becomes available.
