GRATIS -- Gratis Township fire and rescue crews responded to Preble Shawnee High School for reports of smoke in the basement.
Crews on scene tells us it was because of a heater that overheated.
No injuries were reported.
There were no students at the school but custodians were inside the building.
Crews responded fast enough to only have to use a fire extinguisher.
