DAYTON -- A Dayton teenager finds a man staring through her window Monday night.
Khaldousous Smith, 14, says she's too scared to walk into her room alone now.
Dayton Police responded to the home on Clement Avenue around 9 p.m. Monday.
Smith says she was changing inside her closet when she heard a noise against the window.
"It was dark, real dark outside. I couldn't see anything," said Smith.
A light on inside the bedroom and a small opening in the curtains was just enough for the peeping Tom to see her taking off her pants.
Dayton Police dusted and found several sets of fingerprints on the window. They say this kind of perpetrator is bold and they don't see this very often.
It leads them to believe it could be someone who lives nearby so they would know the family's schedule.
"Pervert. It's just kids all around here. Am I the first person he did it to? You never know," said Smith.
Smith says police told her there were several sets of prints, which leads them to believe the peeping Tom has most likely been there before.
Smith's aunt has since put in a motion detector and is looking into getting a dog to stop this from happening again.
