DAYTON -- A Dayton man is locked up tonight facing rape charges.
Johnny Edmonds was arrested at his apartment on Riverside Drive. Police say a 20 year old woman was at Edmond's home visiting a friend. Detective say when Edmonds and the woman were alone, he attacked her and held her against her will.
The woman was eventually able to escape and flagged down a passing car, and the driver called for help.
