LEBANON (AP) -- One of the adult defendants in a large-scale marijuana ring that included a southwest Ohio high school student has been sentenced to eight years in prison.
The Cincinnati Enquirer reports that a Warren County judge convicted 32-year-old Justin Baker of growing and selling marijuana after a bench trial Wednesday and handed down the sentence.
Baker was among seven adults who were indicted in connection with the ring that included Tyler Pagenstecher, a then-17-year-old Mason student who authorities said sold $20,000 a month in high-grade pot to fellow students. He was sentenced in October to serve at least six months in a juvenile facility.
Authorities called the teen one of the most prolific pot dealers in the Cincinnati area.
