XENIA -- Three men are serving time in Kentucky for a double murder following a six-year investigation that began in Kentucky and ended with help from the Greene County Sheriff's Office.
On May 9, 2011, the Kentucky State Police asked the Greene County Sheriff's Office to help investigate, and the authorities here turned up three suspects.
One of the suspects, Ronald Christopher Fairchild, agreed to take a polygraph examination and as a result of the examination, deputies said, he made incriminating statements as to his involvement in the murders. He along with Jason Jackson of the Xenia area and Rodney Dodson of West Carrollton were taken into custody.
Earlier this year, Jackson and Dodson pleaded guilty to two counts of Complicity to Murder. On Tuesday, Fairchild was found guilty as a result of a Jury Trial in Rowan County, Kentucky, on two counts of Complicity to Murder, first-degree Robbery and first-degree Burglary.
Fairchild's penalty phase begins Monday.
