DAYTON -- The First Street exit and the Third Street exit to downtown Dayton on I-75 southbound will close next week.
The northbound ramps to downtown closed in October.
The closure is part of ODOT's final phase of I-75 modernization. Their goal is to make everyone's commute safer with three continuous lanes of traffic. But drivers say it's still a hassle.
"Especially with 35 right now being closed. Trying to get to 75 ... It's like which way do you go," said driver Jennifer Wang.
A big part of downtown Dayton is the performing arts. The Victoria Theatre Association has been proactive with its patrons coming to shows. They have alerted anyone coming downtown for a show about the changes.
Tickets sales have not been affected by the northbound changes.
Victoria Theatre officials say they haven't received one complaint about confusion with the closures.
These ramps will be closed for good. The new ramps will open in 2016.
