DAYTON -- The Dayton Fire Department will promote six public safety professionals at a ceremony to be held Monday at 1:30 p.m., at the Ohio Task Force Building, 200 McFadden Avenue.
Thomas B. Tyzzer will be promoted from Firefighter to Lieutenant. He began his career with the Dayton Fire Department in 2001, is a certified Paramedic and EMT-Basic, and has completed trainings, including Pump and Truck Operator and Aerial Practice.
Bradley A. French will be promoted from Firefighter to Lieutenant. He began his career with the Dayton Fire Department in 2006 and is a certified Paramedic, EMS Instructor, Firefighter Level II, Fire Safety Inspection and Fire Instructor. His trainings include Rescue, Fire Tactics and Haz/Mat, and he has attended two National Fire Academy courses.
Shaun P. Desmarais, Kristen M. Schlater, Jason Parriman and Kent Denlinger will be promoted from EMT-Basic to Paramedic.
