DAYTON -- Police Chief Richard Biehl says his department's personnel does not reflect the Dayton community and he wants that to change, so the Dayton Police Department is hiring and they are encouraging women and minorities to apply.
"We really need to improve the diversity of our agency," Biehl said. "We're reaching out to women and minorities to sign up and be a part of this great organization."
The department is taking applications through April 19 and the next training class will start in June.
