DAYTON -- The folks at Angie's Firehouse Tavern on Watervliet Avenue are showing their support for injured Dayton firefighter Captain Barry Cron. The restaurant usually puts their daily specials on the boards, but today changed the message to support Capt. Cron and offer him well wishes.
Captain Cron was injured early Tuesday morning while investigating an accident on US 35. He was trying to assist an motorist that had just wrecked on the icy roads, when another car slid into the vehicle and threw Captain Cron more than 30 feet in the air.
He's now in good condition, recovering in the hospital.
