DAYTON -- The report of a possible shooting leads to a man being busted for running an illegal tattoo shop. Dayton police were called to a home on Benning Place around 9:30 p.m. Monday on the report of a shooting. The officers didn't find a victim, but they did find a home with several bullets in it.
They say they also found Patrick Willhoite, who they say was not only running an illegal tattoo shop inside the home, but also wanted for outstanding warrants from Wisconsin.
Willhoite told police there was a fight that spilled outside the apartment and that's when several shots were fired. One shot came through his window and another lodged in his refrigerator. There were two children inside Willhoite's apartment; fortunately no one was hit.
Willhoite was taken into custody on that outstanding warrant.
