TROTWOOD -- A local nightclub was busted for selling alcohol illegally.
Undercover detectives showed up at Deja Vu night club around 11 Friday night.
Officers say the club was violating zoning ordinances because it's listed as a banquet hall. It does not have a liquor license.
Investigators were tipped off by party flyers stating alcohol would be served at the club.
"This has been a long-standing problem and what we're trying to do is let people know that this is not a proper place and it's not operating correctly," said Trotwood Police Capt. John Porter.
None of the party goers were cited but the club's owner and party promoters are charged with illegal distribution of alcohol.
