DAYTON--A man robbed outside a Dayton Taco Bell helps police find the suspect.
Billy Shepherd tells us he was walking into the Taco Bell on Brown Street yesterday afternoon when a white Jeep pulled up next to him.
A man jumped out of the Jeep and put him in a headlock. The attacker was also carrying a gun in his waistband. He then ripped off Shepherd's gold necklace and drove off, but the victim remembered the Jeep's license plate number.
"I was able to get the license plate number saved before they sped off and I called the cops and the cops sped up there and within five minutes they had (him)," Billy Shepherd said.
Police tracked down the suspect, Roberto Robbins, and arrested him for aggravated robbery.
