BEAVERCREEK--Today Beavercreek High School renamed their campus the "General Janet Wolfenbarger Campus'' after one of their most successful students.
General Wolfenbarger is the first female four star general in United States Air Force history. She also holds one of the highest ranking positions at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
General Wolfenbarger says her high school has changed drastically since she attended, but the school's core values are still the same.
"The institution itself is one that I have treasured my entire life for the learning that it gave me and for the start in terms of everything else I did in my career," said General Janet Wolfenbarger.
Wolfenbarger said she was surprised they wanted to name the campus after her, but says the honor is a career highlight.
