UPDATE: PREBLE COUNTY---Melissa Wolf's arrest is one of a string of meth busts in the County.
"I think this picture speaks 1,000 words to what meth does to somebody's body." Preble County Sheriff Mike Simpson said about Melissa Wolf's mug shot.
Sheriff Simpson said Wolf was making methamphetamine on her property where she lives with her teenage son.
"The fact that this stuff is going on, on the property with children there, that is very dangerous." He said.
Wolf may also face child endangering charges, because her child lives at the home.
The Sheriff said there have been 4 meth lab busts in the county since
October.
Karen Spencer has lived in Preble County her entire life.
"It's getting really bad. Every time you hear meth bust, you hear Preble County ." She said.
Simpson said the problem is bad in Preble County because its so rural. "We are tackling the problem everyday, taking one at a time." He said.
The Sheriff said they need help, and tips from the community.
"We have to rely on the community. They know what is going on, and have that information that we need."
Spencer said she wants the meth cleaned up before it gets any worse.
"I have grand kids growing up here. I would like this problem to be handled before they're older."
