AAA Warning Teen Drivers of Dangers

DAYTON -- In the past four days 15 teens have died in car crashes across the nation.

AAA wants to make sure teens right here at home know about the dangers of driving. One way they educate new drivers is by showing them past crash headlines, highlighting the number of passengers, time of day and factors in the crash.

Most crashes involving young people happen with multiple teens in the car, at night and usually because the driver is distracted.

"To me, it's all who you hang around and type of people that you base yourself off of," said driving student De'Quan Morgan.

Many of the driving instructors in our area with AAA were at one time first responders and have seen their share of accidents involving young people.
