DAYTON -- Dayton police are investigating a shooting at 1700 Wesleyan Avenue that happened around 10:30 pm Monday.
When officers arrived on the scene, there was no victim, but a short time later 22-year-old Ryan Jamel Jones of Dayton was dropped off at the hospital with a gunshot wound to the neck.
Police said Jones had $2,989 in cash on him.
He was reported to be in critical condition early Tuesday.
No word on what led to the shooting.
