FAIRBORN -- There are more molecules in your glass of water than there are glasses of water in the entire world, that's just one tidbit of information that came from Wright State's Nutter Center on Thursday night as famed astrophysicist Neil Degrasse Tyson took the stage.

Thousands showed up to hear Degrasse Tyson's ''Ten Things you Need to Know About the Universe'' talk.  The line to see Degrasse Tyson stretched through the hallways of the Nutter Center, out the door, around the building and into the parking lot.

Fans say Degrasse Tyson brings big science down to a level where anyone can understand and appreciate it.

"I'm actually fascinated by all branches of science," Robyn Richardson Coy, a big Degrasse Tyson, fan told us. "I like the extreme largeness of the universe and the extreme smallness of the microscopic organisms."

The event at the Nutter Center ended up being standing room only and was free and open to Wright State students and the general public.
