DAYTON-- A man accused of gunning down another man in one of Dayton's recent string of homicides, has been indicted on a murder charge.
Tarrell Postell, age 25, is accused of killing Jason Rutledge February 20th on Ravenwood Avenue.
A group of people were hanging out that night in a duplex, when an argument broke out over a dice game.
Druing the argument Postell shot Jason Rutedge, age 29. Postell then fired numerous shots before running out the back door.
Rutledge was rushed to the hospital by his brother, where he later died.
Dayton police arrested Postell the next day and he's been in the Montgomery county jail since then.
Postell has been indicted on 1 count of murder, 5 counts of felonious assault, and a weapons charge.
He is expected to be arraigned on the charges on March 5th.
For now, he remains in jail on a 1 million dollar bond.

DAYTON -- Police say a game of dice led to a fatal shooting February 20 on Ravenwood Avenue.
Dayton Police said Tarrell Postell, 25, reportedly pulled a gun over an argument during the game and attempted to shoot one of the players. Police said that at some point during the altercation, 29-year-old Jason Rutledge was shot.
He later died at the hospital.
Postell has been arrested and charged with one count of Felonious Assault for attempting to shoot the brother of the deceased victim. The homicide investigation continues.

UPDATE: Ravenwood Avenue Shooting Victim Identified
DAYTON -- The man who was shot and later died at Good Samaritan Hospital overnight has been identified.
Police say Jason Rutlege, 29, was shot at a Ravenwood Avenue address about 11:45 Wednesday night. He was transported to the hospital and taken into surgery, but he died from the wound.
Police are continuing their investigation.

Man Dies at Hospital After Dayton Shooting
DAYTON -- Homicide detectives are trying to piece together a shooting after man dies at Good Samaritan Hospital from gunshot wounds.
Police believe the shooting happened on Ravenwood Avenue around 11:45 Wednesday night. They were originally called to that address on a shots fired call.
A short time later a shooting victim was dropped off at Good Samaritan Hospital. He was rushed into surgery but did not make it.
Around the same time, two other men showed up at a local hospital with gunshot wounds. One showed up at Good Sam with a gunshot wound to the arm, the other showed up at Grandview Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the foot.
Police cannot confirm whether the shootings are related. As for the fatal shooting, they say they have the name of a suspect, but are not releasing that information at this time.
