KETTERING -- Police arrested three juveniles Friday they said are responsible for damage done to multiple vehicles.
Officers were dispatched to the Lanbury Drive and Endover Road area on a report of suspicious people looking into vehicles about 3:43 a.m. A description of the suspectâs vehicle was given as a gray, four-door Toyota Nissan with two to three black males inside. At 4:03 a.m., police said a vehicle matching the description was located in the North Marshall Road and Sharon Avenue area. The vehicle was pulled over and officers found slingshots, marbles and alcoholic beverages in the car.
Police said the suspects confessed to the vandalism
The three juveniles were arrested and taken to Kettering Police Department. Police said one suspect later led officers to his residence where the BB guns used in the criminal acts were confiscated.
The three suspects are believed to be responsible for damage done to more than 50 vehicles in Kettering, West Carrollton, Miami Township and Moraine.
