DAYTON -- A Dayton home is damaged by fire and fire officials say it was caused by a grow operation.
The fire broke out around 10pm on Maryland Avenue in the attic of the home. When fire crews went in to investigate, they found marijuana being grown, and believe one of the heating devices may have started the fire.
One woman was in the home when the fire broke out, she was able to get out safely. No word if she was arrested or will face any charges for the drugs.
