Our Jackie Couture went to a local mom's home with a child safety expert to find out the best ways to keep your kids safe.
Here are the four hidden dangers she uncovered.

1.Batteries--Nickel sized batteries like the ones found in key fobs and small electronics can deadly if kids swallow them.

2.Large Furniture--Large TV's should be securely mounted the wall so they don't fall over.  Also, it's important to secure other heavy pieces like dressers and bureaus.

3.Blinds--They could easily unwind, choking a child.  The cords should be tied up neatly out of the child's reach.

4.Bathtubs--Toddler -age children can drown in less than one inch of water.  Kids should be constantly supervised when they're in the bathroom.  Also the water should be checked to make sure it's not too hot.
