DAYTON -- For more than three decades they've been collaborating but Thursday, Jan. 22, 2015 Sinclair Community College and Wright Patterson Air Force Base took that relationship to new heights.
The new partnership is the first of it's kind. It focuses on workforce development in the new "P-4" program. This gives Sinclair access to WPAFB fire training grounds, equipment, and personnel.
The idea is to help make programs and training opportunities the best they can be without busting the budget.
"We have to think differently on how we use our tax payers money. that's your money and that's my money as well," said Col. John Devillier.
Sinclair will be offering workforce training to more than 500 employees at Wright-Patt in fields like leadership development, team building and conflict resolution.
