HUBER HEIGHTS -- Police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred this afternoon (Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2015).
The First Financial Bank on Brandt Pike, near Chambersburg Road, in Huber Heights was robbed about 2 p.m.. Police are looking for the suspect, who is described as a man in his late 40s, about 5-foot-8 or 5-foot-10 and 220 to 250 pounds. He was wearing a grey sweatshirt, black hat, blue jeans and dark sunglasses.
He reportedly passed a note to the teller but didn't produce a weapon. Police say he fled the bank on foot. A k-9 was called to the scene but it failed to pick up the man's track.
