FOXBOROUGH -- A touching gesture for a longtime New England Patriots fan who just got the worst news of her life.
Last week Cathy Nicols found out she had terminal cancer. Her co-workers wrote our sister station in Maine and they got in touch with the Patriots.
Owner, Robert Kraft, then gave the special education teacher two of his family seats to watch the Patriots play the Colts in the AFC Championship game Sunday night.
"We had already picked out the game we were gonna see next year and my biggest fear was that I wasn't going to get to see my beloved patriots play again, and not only am I seeing then play but I'm at a playoff game watching...unbelievable!"
As you know the Patriots won and will play the Seattle Seahawks in the Super Bowl.
