Chaminade Julienne announced a $20 million dollar renovation plan on Friday, January 16, 2015 for Building One on the corner of Ludlow and Franklin Streets in Dayton.
The improvements include a new cafeteria, expanded band room, and air conditioning.
"The building is not air conditioned. It was built in 1951 and so from mid-April through the end of the school year and from August when we start back until october it gets pretty warm in here," said CJ President Dan Meixner.
Construction is expected to get underway during Easter break.
