PIQUA -- The city of Piqua has issued a water boil advisory after reports of a large water main break on West High Street.
The entire west side of Piqua is included in the advisory. This area includes any resident and business to the west of Washington Avenue from State Route 66 to High Street. This advisory also includes any resident and business to the west of Gordon Avenue from Water Street to the south corporation limit. All water in this area used for consumption should be brought to a full, rolling boil for at least 5 minutes to ensure that it is safe.
The city says the water boil advisory will remain in effect until further notice.
