Teddy Bear Collection to Help Stillwater Center Residents

MONTGOMERY COUNTY -- The Dayton Youth Section of the National Council of Negro Women is collecting new teddy bears for the residents of Stillwater Center.  New teddy bears can be dropped off on Saturday, February 9, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Stillwater Center, 8100 N. Main Street, Dayton. 

The teddy bears will be distributed to the residents of Stillwater Center on Valentine € s Day, February 14, at 6 p.m.

Stillwater Center is a home for children and adults who are residents of Montgomery County, have the most severe and profound intellectual disabilities, are physically challenged and/or have significant medical needs. Stillwater provides other related support services to eligible families and individuals. Currently Stillwater is licensed to provide residential services to 98 individuals. Stillwater Center is owned and operated by the Montgomery County Board of County Commissioners.
