DAYTON -- Police say a car full of girls and women fled from an officer Monday, ran a stop sign and crashed into another vehicle.
Dayton Police said an officer attempted to stop the reportedly stolen car at Seibenthaler and Philadelphia Avenue but the driver fled eastbound before crashing at Catalpa Drive.
Police said there were six females in the car and one person in the vehicle they crashed into. They also reported that a school bus driver witnessed the crash.
The seven people in the crash were transported to hospitals with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
The females all face a Receiving Stolen Property charge, which could change to a Grand Theft Auto charge if police confirm the vehicle was stolen.
