DAYTON -- Police say a 40-year-old man has been shot and another male is in custody after a shooting on Malvern Avenue.
Dayton Police tell us that the victim was shot in the back and he was hospitalized with serious injuries but they are not considered life-threatening.
Two people were near the scene of the shooting -- 1915 Malvern Avenue -- when police arrived and they fled when they saw police, officers said. One of those people have been arrested.
