HAMILTON COUNTY -- A 12 year old girl is killed in an 86 car pile-up near Cincinnati. The massive wreck happened on I-275 in Hamilton County.
The snow is being blamed for the crash as many cars and trucks slid off the highway.
The child who was killed was apparently standing in the median after the initial crash, when she was hit. At least 20 other people were taken to the hospital. The highway was shut down for hours.
In central Ohio today, another big pile-up outside of Columbus, this one happened around noon and involved about 30 vehicles. Three different police departments were called in to deal with the huge crash which shut down the highway for two hours.
Three people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
