DAYTON -- More than $20,000 worth of dental equipment was stolen early Thursday from a vacant doctor's office and police are looking for the burglar.

Dayton police said someone broke two windows to gain access to the vacant business at the former Salem Dental Center, 649 Delaware Avenue. The business had been sold to someone else.

Stolen from the building were two dental air compressors worth about $20,000, several stainless steel sinks, a Whirlpool clothes washer and Kelvinator clothes dryer.

A neighbor told police she saw two males in hooded sweatshirts about 4 a.m. Thursday moving appliances out of the dental office. The building's real estate agent told police other items have been stolen from this address, including parts from an outside air conditioning unit.

Police are continuing to investigate.
